Global Ehsan Relief Sri Lanka recently conducted its Annual Medical Check-up for orphaned children at Kinniya An Najath Vidyalayam in Trincomalee. This initiative, focused on ensuring the health and well-being of vulnerable children, provided comprehensive medical evaluations, including general health assessments and ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat) check-ups. A total of 162 orphaned children participated in this event, receiving personalized care and attention from medical professionals. The program aimed to identify and address any health concerns early, enabling timely interventions to enhance their overall quality of life.
By organizing such essential health initiatives, GER continues to demonstrate its commitment to safeguarding the physical well-being of orphans, an often-overlooked yet critical aspect of their care. These medical check-ups are instrumental in detecting underlying health issues, ensuring the children are equipped to thrive in their academic and personal lives. Beyond medical care, the event also reinforced a message of compassion and support, fostering a sense of belonging among the children. GER’s dedication to holistic care not only addresses immediate health needs but also ensures long-term benefits, promoting healthier futures for these vulnerable young lives.
